Uncle Apologises

In a twist of events, Semwanga’s uncle Herbert

Luyinda took the opportunity of the requiem

mass to apologise for dividing the deceased’s

family.

Last week, Luyinda told journalists that

Ssemwanga’s children will be taken for DNA

tests to prove they belonged to him, raising dust

among family members.

The deceased’s uncle also claimed Zari doesn’t

have any shares on Ivan’s property accusing her

of leaving their marital home and got married to

another man.

However on Monday, the deceased’s uncle

apologized for the statements he had earlier

made in public.

“I apologise for any mistakes that I made. Let us

stay together, ” Ivan’s uncle said during the

requiem mass at Namirembe cathedral.

The mother of Ivan Semwanga’s children, Zari

Hassan has promised to look after the kids.

Speaking during Semwanga’s Church service at

Namirembe Cathedral, Zari said she is a strong

lady who is willing and ready to take care of her

children.

“I have cried since he was hospitalized. I am now

strong,” Zari said.

“My mother raised me single-handedly and

taught me to be strong. I will do the right thing

for him and the boys.”

Zari, who is now married to Tanzanian singer

Diamond Platnumz said Ivan’s 3 children are her

own blood that she can’t leave to wander in the

world.
